SS Garden Construction decided to move the business to a more professional level by creating a showroom - working from the back of a car just doesn't do it. All our staff are uniformed and our vehicles are sign written because we are proud to show off our branding.
SS Garden Construction was formed in November 2004 after working with one of Adelaides' best Landscapers Peter W Farquhar. In this short time we have grown to 8 staff plus 2 more with Landscapes + More (our display yard and office) and our newest business venture SS Garden and Lawns, currently managed and operated by 2 staff members which specialises in the area of maintaining lawns, gardens and yard tidy ups, etc.

We take this opportunity to write you this letter outlining our experience with SS Garden construction and the proprietor of SS Garden Construction, Mr Steve Mutlow.
We engaged SS Garden Construction to undertake landscaping of our entire back garden which included:
Removing our burden and old pavers, prep of the site for paving and laying of pavers (area of over 125 square meters), including installation of drainage points, building retaining walls, installation of steps up to raised garden beds and installation of turf.
We found the quote supplied logically organized and easy to understand and it detailed all work that would be carried out, including all costings.
Steve was helpful and patient in the process of selection of the type and colour of paver to be used. The work was all carried out in a timely fashion and the finished work is of a high standard. One point in particular I would like to bring to your attention is the care taken to clean up the site at the end of the day, making it safe for our children to play in the back garden as well as ensuring that the area was not an eye sore

Last year I contracted SS Garden Construction to quote on outdoor paving for a pergola area. Steve Mutlow won the contract due to his fast service and an idea for raised planter boxes. Also his price was reasonable compared to other quotes I received.
The large area of paving was completed in a matter of days after the prep work was completed and the result looks fantastic. My neighbor had just placed driveway paving along the side of our home and they were concerned that the trucks would damage their work. Steve smoothed them over by bringing in the sand pavers etc by wheelbarrow from the front of our home. However, there was a small problem with our storm water drain, we had two in the paving area. One was disconnected that we later found out about which happened to be the one that we said to Steve to use. We notified Steve of this and it was a priority for him to see that it was rectified as soon as possible.
