Business Profile
Woodside Boarding Cattery is a family operated business owned and managed by Sue and Brenton Marshall. Kimberley, their daughter, lends a helping hand when needed. Local students help out over the weekends, and during the busy school holiday periods.
Sue is a fully qualified (Level IV) Veterinary nurse, which guarantees that your cats will not only be receiving the best possible care, but that a professional perspective can be placed on any animal that may need attention while in our care.
Unlike most cat boarding facilities, Woodside Boarding Cattery offers post-operative care and medical care (for cats on medication).
We offer standard individual cage care; double cages to allow cats from the same family to board together; and special care cages, for elderly and post-operative cats. We also offer Executive suites for the spoilt feline companion.
Woodside Boarding Cattery is a member of the Pet Industry Association of Australia (PIAA), and is the only boarding establishment in South Australia to be accredited by The Pet Industry. PIAA accreditation means that Woodside Boarding Cattery is compliant with the PIAA National Code of Practice, and offers “Gold Class” service in Animal Welfare, Business Practices, Workplace Health and Safety, and Customer Service. We are one of the best Catteries in Australia, and pride ourselves on this achievement.

Testimonials
I recently collected my daughter's two pets from Woodside Boarding Cattery after she entrusted them to Sue Marshall's care for two months while overseas. They were obviously well cared for with Sue's valuable vet nurse experience and dedication. Her friendly, courteous service was excellent, and I have no hesitation in recommending her business, which is conducted with outstanding professionalism. This wonderful facility is inviting with attention to detail, providing clean, safe environment and instilling confidence in clients by having all their needs accommodated. I've often thought in my next life, perhaps I'd return as a cat! A little pampered perhaps! Sue has confirmed my visit...that's not such a bad idea!

Thank you so very much for taking such quality care with our three moggies! They all look fantastic, infact too well! I think a little diet may well be on the cards!! All have settled and seem to remember us. Thank you again for your kindness.

In October 2006 I had the unenviable job of trying to find high quality care for my deceased Uncle's 17 year old Burmese cat, Sybilla. Family members and friends who could have cared for her at the high standard to which she was accustomed. My local vet suggested I contact Sue Marshall at the Woodside Boarding Cattery and gave me a glowing report on Sue and her business. Having already contacted a few catteries I was a bit sceptical but as soon as I spoke to Sue on the phone I had the feeling my search was at an end. I arrived at Woodside Boarding Cattery a few days later and found the drive from Adelaide really pleasant and the freeway made it a quick trip indeed. The WBC was modern and scrupulously clean but with a very homely atmosphere and both the resident cats and visiting cats all seemed settled and happy. Sybilla moved in a short time later and her every need was met by Sue and her staff. The cat who always resided in front of the gas heater at home had a heated wall in her enclosure. As an 'only cat' she took a little while to venture out with the other residents but eventually she found sunny spots in the front window and on the chair in the back patio area. Sybilla's veterinary requirements were easily met by Sue. As a highly qualified Vet Nurse, she followed the strict diet regime required by her elderly charge but added a treat every day by feeding just a little bit of some of the more scrumptious meals the other cats were enjoying. I could not speak highly enough of the high standard of care provided by the WBC but more importantly Sybilla was also give what she needed most, love and affection.

Over the past three years we have required a home for our cat, Chanel, whilst we have been away on holidays and until we found the Woodside Boarding Cattery we weren't happy leaving our cat at all. The service that Sue gives is excellent and her experience in Vetinary nursing is always an advantage in case of illness etc. The reception area is bright with cats of all descriptions decorating the area and it is a very friendly start for cat owners. On each occasion we have found the cat accommodation to be first class, always clean and tidy and the cages are very large with lovelly bedding, scratch pole etc, all the things a cat could require. When we have been unable to take our cat to Sue, she has kindly picked up Chanel from his home which is an hours drive from her place, but she has always obliged without any complaint. In closing I would recommend that any commendation or award to this cattery is given would be applauded by all the cats and their owners who have spent time there.
